È stato annunciato oggi il tour europeo di Nobuo Uematsu, leggendario compositore delle colonne sonore di Final Fantasy e di altri famosi videogiochi. La nuova serie di concerti partirà dall’Italia, con Milano tappa inaugurale: il 2 maggio 2026 al Teatro Nazionale, data zero della tournée europea.
Si tratta di un ritorno molto atteso, dopo il mini tour italiano del 2025 con la band conTIKI, che aveva toccato Genova, Roma e Ferrara, segnando la prima visita del Maestro in Italia dopo 17 anni.
Ad affiancare Uematsu sul palco ci sarà Sarah Àlainn, voce scelta da Yasunori Mitsuda per Xenoblade Chronicles, special guest del conTIKI Show per l’intero tour europeo. La formazione vedrà inoltre Michio Okamiya alle chitarre, Chihiro Fujioka alle percussioni, Rie Tozuka alle letture e all’autoharp, Nubia al violoncello e lo stesso Uematsu alle tastiere.
Il concerto proporrà un viaggio musicale tra le composizioni più recenti del maestro e nuovi arrangiamenti dei grandi classici di Final Fantasy, ripercorrendo colonne sonore che hanno segnato generazioni di videogiocatori.
È stato inoltre annunciato che le date italiane del tour saranno aperte dalla Chocobo Band.
Dopo il grande successo della tournée condivisa lo scorso marzo, Uematsu ha infatti voluto nuovamente al suo fianco la formazione italiana per inaugurare la tappa milanese. La Chocobo Band porterà sul palco brani tratti dall’album Lifestream Memories, un viaggio sonoro che reinterpreta i temi più iconici della serie Final Fantasy con una travolgente chiave metal sinfonica.
La serata segnerà anche il debutto di Rehn Stillnight come voce principale della band, pronta a imprimere nuova energia al progetto. Sul palco si alterneranno inoltre le performance di Camilla D’Onofrio al violino, della cantante Elizabeth Rage e del celebre performer Leon Chiro, per uno spettacolo che si preannuncia tanto coinvolgente sul piano musicale quanto suggestivo sul piano visivo.
Dopo Milano, il tour proseguirà ad Amsterdam (5 maggio) e Parigi (9 maggio, Salle Pleyel). Le date autunnali saranno annunciate prossimamente.

A grande richiesta, raddoppia la tappa italiana del tour europeo di Nobuo Uematsu.
Dopo il sold out del primo concerto, Hidden Door ha annunciato una seconda data a Milano, sempre il 2 maggio 2026 al Teatro Nazionale, con inizio alle ore 15:00. Un’occasione imperdibile per tutti coloro che non sono riusciti ad assicurarsi un posto per l’appuntamento serale.
L’apertura delle vendite è prevista per venerdì alle ore 12:00.
Sarà inoltre disponibile un’ulteriore sessione di Meet & Greet, fissata per le 17:30 dello stesso giorno, che permetterà ai fan di incontrare il Maestro per autografo e foto (fino a esaurimento disponibilità).

Nobuo Uematsu, the legendary composer behind the music of Final Fantasy and many other iconic video games, has officially announced his European tour. The new concert series will kick off in Italy, with Milan hosting the opening date: May 2, 2026, at Teatro Nazionale, marking the very first stop of the European tour.
This is a highly anticipated return, following the 2025 Italian mini-tour with the band conTIKI, which visited Genoa, Rome, and Ferrara. That run also marked Uematsu’s first appearance in Italy in 17 years.
Joining Uematsu on stage will be Sarah Àlainn, the vocalist chosen by Yasunori Mitsuda for Xenoblade Chronicles, who will serve as a special guest for the entire European leg of the conTIKI Show. The lineup will also feature Michio Okamiya on guitars, Chihiro Fujioka on percussion, Rie Tozuka on readings and autoharp, Nubia on cello, and Uematsu himself on keyboards.
The concert promises a musical journey through the composer’s more recent works alongside newly arranged versions of Final Fantasy classics, revisiting soundtracks that have left a lasting mark on generations of players.
It has also been confirmed that the Italian dates of the tour will be opened by the Chocobo Band.
Following the great success of their shared tour last March, Uematsu has once again chosen to bring the Italian group on stage with him to inaugurate the Milan show. The Chocobo Band will perform music from their album Lifestream Memories, a powerful sonic journey that reimagines the most iconic themes of the Final Fantasy series through a dynamic symphonic metal approach.
The evening will also mark the debut of Rehn Stillnight as the band’s new lead vocalist, bringing fresh energy to their sound. The performance will also feature appearances by violinist Camilla D’Onofrio, singer Elizabeth Rage, and renowned performer Leon Chiro, promising a show that will be both musically powerful and visually striking.
After Milan, the tour will continue in Amsterdam on May 5, followed by Paris on May 9 at Salle Pleyel. Additional autumn dates are set to be announced at a later time.

Due to overwhelming demand, the Italian stop of the European tour by Nobuo Uematsu has been expanded.
Following the sold-out first concert, Hidden Door has announced a second date in Milan, once again on May 2, 2026 at the Teatro Nazionale, with a 3:00 PM start time. An unmissable opportunity for everyone who wasn’t able to secure a ticket for the evening performance.
Ticket sales will open on Friday at 12:00 PM.
An additional Meet & Greet session will also be available at 5:30 PM on the same day, giving fans the chance to meet the Maestro for autographs and photos (subject to availability).
